Bedford Co.Arts Council Firday Night Music |

The Bedford County Arts Council continues its “Friday Night Music” Series.
This monthly event features local and regional musicians performing with guests of their choice in the relaxed atmosphere of the Arts Center at the Anderson House on Pitt St in Bedford.
“Washington Slept Here” comprised of Jeremy Mock, Dave Howsare, Ryan Bramen will host on July 6, beginning at 7:00pm. Special guests include Jeff Seitz, Mark Diehl, Miranda Shank, and Troy Daugherty. . This evening has a “70’s” theme, so get your duds on and come have a groovy time.
The Arts Center is handicapped accessible and located at 137 E. Pitt St, Bedford, PA. $5.00 donation will be accepted at the door. BYOB. July 6, 7:00-10:00pm

2012 Farmer’s Market |

2012 Farmer’s Market in Frostburg every Friday, from 9:30 to 1pm. The market is NOW located in City Place on the corner of Water & Mechanic Streets -- rain or shine. Public restrooms are available and it is more pedestrian-friendly. Hours have been extended to 1pm so don’t let your lunch hour go by without stopping by the market this year. A portion of Mechanic Street will be closed to allow for easier pedestrian access so please take Broadway to access the Mechanic Street parking lot.

Chaqutauqua 2012 will take place at six sites across Maryland. Garrett County is privledged to hold this event at Garrett College. The War of 1812 theme will honor the bicentennial of America's second war of independence, an important turning point in Maryland's history.
