Sunday - gates open 10a-4p. Backyard Grillers Competition.

2012 Farmer’s Market |

2012 Farmer’s Market in Frostburg every Friday, from 9:30 to 1pm. The market is NOW located in City Place on the corner of Water & Mechanic Streets -- rain or shine. Public restrooms are available and it is more pedestrian-friendly. Hours have been extended to 1pm so don’t let your lunch hour go by without stopping by the market this year. A portion of Mechanic Street will be closed to allow for easier pedestrian access so please take Broadway to access the Mechanic Street parking lot.

Stuff The Bus Events |

United Way is proud to announce their first “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive on Friday, August 17, from 10 am to 8 pm. Stuff the Bus is a community-wide effort to collect school supplies for area students. Donated items at each location will be used in that county's schools.
Locations:
Allegany County - Parking lot of Walmart in Lavale.
Garrett County - Parking lot Walmart in Oakland.
Hampshire County - Food Lion parking lot at Hampshire Square.
Mineral County - parking lot of Walmart in Keyser.
PLUS, All Bank of Romney branches are drop-off locations, as well as Buskirk - Chaney Insurance in Wiley Ford, Lifetime Dreams in Short Gap, Frankfort High School, BB&T in Fort Ashby and Keyser and Dollar General in Fort Ashby.
Monetary donations are welcome:
