Art Peace Exhibition |
|
August 23-31 Art that conveys the concept of peace will be shown in an exhibition entitled “Art Peace: Ordinary Ideas Making an Extraordinary Difference,” planned by Allegany College of Maryland’s Peace Studies Club and the Allegany Arts Council, whose Saville Gallery will host it. Opening Reception: August 25, 6-8PM. Free & open to the public. Women for Women International and Heal Africa will receive proceeds from the exhibit. Yough Glades Elementary School will be holding their Back to School Night during two separate nights. Students in grades PreK, kindergarten, first and second will have their back to school night on Thursday, August 23rd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Students in grades 3,4, and 5 will have their back to school night on Friday, August 24th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. |
