Program on Edison, Ford & Firestone – Camping in Western Maryland to be Presented at Springs
Champ Zumbrun, former Forest Manager of Green Ridge State Forest will present the program “The Vagabonds" on Monday May 19 at 7:30 P.M. at the Folk Meeting House in Springs, PA. Learn about the industrialists Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and Harvey Firestone camping in western Maryland in the summer of 1921. Their journey took them along Route 40 through Grantsville to a camp at Muddy Creek Falls.
