Lonestar will celebrate their 20th anniversary with the return of lead singer Richie McDonald and with a new album and world tour in 2012. He says, "We've all tried other avenues, and the fact remains that some things were just meant to be." The band's Keech Rainwater adds, "I think fans ultimately wondered if this was ever going to happen again, and it always seemed like the original Lonestar as a whole was better than the sum of its parts." There's no word on a release date for the album, but the tour will hit England, Ireland, Switzerland and Germany early next year.
