Tim McGraw’s new album, Sundown Heaven Town, boasts collaborations with Kid Rock and Catherine Dunn, plus the hit Faith Hill duet “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s.” The liner notes include a sweet dedication and a picture of Tim’s mom, Elizabeth Ann D’Agostino, who was only a senior in high school when she found out she was going to be a mom. Tim McGraw reveals the unexpected pregnancy put her dreams of becoming a professional dancer were put on hold. “It was her senior year in high school. She got a call back to audition for Where the Action Is. And she couldn’t do it because she found out she was pregnant with me. And then she had to drop out of school. They sent her to Louisiana out in the country so nobody could see her being pregnant, you know, the whole routine back then. To me, that was sort of the moment in time that my mom’s life changed.” The 18-track collection features “Lookin’ for That Girl” and Tim’s rising single “Shotgun Rider.” Release day appearances include ABC’s Good Morning America and The View, plus a live Vevo concert webcast at 9 p.m. ET.
